Huntington Man sentenced for drug related crimes

A federal court has sentenced a Raleigh County man to more than three years in federal prison for retaliating against a government witness

Cabell County, WV (WOAY) – A Huntington man has been sentenced to prison for drug-related crimes.

49-year-old Jackie Dwayne Lucas, ‘Dwayne’ of Huntington, was sentenced to two years in prison, followed by 4 years of supervised release for distributing over 50 grams of a mixture containing methamphetamine.

Lucas admitted to playing a role in a drug trafficking organization (DTO) that distributed meth and fentanyl in Huntington. Court records confirm that on August 4, 2025, Lucas distributed 112.5 grams of meth to a confidential informant for $650.

Lucas admitted that he did this transaction at his home, and it was arranged by a co-defendant. He also admitted to selling over 100 grams of meth for $650 on July 29, 2025.

Lucas is among 10 defendants indicted on charges alleging that they were a part of the DTO.

Lucas and three others pleaded guilty. The charges against the other defendants are still pending.
