Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – Newswatch is continuing to follow the race for Fayette County Circuit Judge in the upcoming 2026 election.
We spoke with Evan Dove, the Fayette County Mental Hygiene Commissioner and Attorney. He told us that his background has prepared him for the heavy issues that he would weigh as a circuit judge.
Dove says he is campaigning door-to-door around the county. In addition to his work as Mental Hygiene Commissioner, Dove practices law at the Clay Law Firm.
He also volunteers as a Court Appointed Attorney.
