Meadow Bridge, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County town is under a boil water advisory until further notice.
According to a public advisory from the Meadow Bridge Water & Sewer Department, the entire town of Meadow Bridge is under a boil water advisory due to a main water line break that occurred on December 15, 2025.
Residents are asked not to consume the water without taking the following steps:
Bring the water to a boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation.
Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
Residents are asked to take follow these precautions until further notice.
