Hinton, WV (WOAY)- The city of Hinton is revving up for one of the biggest motorsports weekends of the year!
Backroads of Appalachia returns to host 24 Hours of Appalachia: Miners and Loggers Delight Part II, kicking off on Friday, August 29, through Sunday, August 31.
You can expect full-size vehicles, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and dirt bikes, all rolling downtown and beyond for three days of adrenaline and Appalachian charm.
Highlights include live music on Friday at the Rivertown stage with Matt Mullins, Saturday morning pancake breakfast at the Kiwanis Club, and an awards ceremony featuring delicious food from Bandit BBQ to wrap it all up on Sunday.
Organizers stress this is not a race, routes use public roads, and safety is a top priority.
Riders are asked to ride respectfully and responsibly.
