Hospice SWV kicks off Camp Hope for grieving youth

Beckley, WV (WOAY) – Hospice of Southern West Virginia offers a special opportunity for children and teens navigating grief to connect with like-minded youth and learn healthy coping skills.

Camp Hope is a free bereavement camp for children ages 7 to 17, designed to provide a safe and supportive space for them to explore their emotions, build healthy coping skills, and have fun. 

The camp runs from June 17 to 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, at Glade Springs Resort in Daniels.

The camp concludes with a touching memorial service and a family picnic on the final day at 3:00 p.m.
