Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – The beloved White Oak Rail Trail Expo returns this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a fun-filled family day.
There will be 170 vendors (local and five other states), from food to unique crafts, local organizations, and live entertainment.
It’s a great summer kickoff.
“It’s a really good community activity for the vendors themselves to get to know one another, but then also the community to get to know them and have a good time together,” said Destination: Downtown Oak Hill’s Adam Hodges.
According to Hodges, they have their yearly Italian ice and much more.
“Jamaican food, barbecue, funnel cakes, the kind of fun stuff you’d expect from a festival, as well as all kinds of unique items, plants,” he said.
Also, worship services that want to get their word out.
“And different people with summer activities they want to promote,” said Hodges. ” We’re also going to have activities like face painting. I just love how the community comes together.”
