Princeton Public Library kicks off Summer Reading Program on June 1

Princeton, WV (WOAY)- One local library is encouraging people to read while offering fun and prizes. 

The Princeton Public Library is holding its annual summer reading program and raffle.  

This year’s theme is Color Our World.  

Adults and kids can earn raffle tickets for completing certain tasks and books, which they can turn in for a chance at prizes.  

The summer reading program starts June 1.

There is no registration; show up between June 1 and July 31 to participate.  

For the kids, a reading log is available to track the books they read, and for the adults, it operates on an honor system.  

Adults will need a library card to participate.
