BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The YMCA of Southern West Virginia is thrilled to announce the return of one of Beckley’s most cherished traditions. The 48th Annual YMCA Thanksgiving Day Run is set for the morning of Thursday, November 28, at the Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex.
Event Details
Participants have three options to choose from:
- 5-Mile Run
- 5-Mile Walk
- 1-Mile Family Fun Run
Whether you’re looking to push your limits or simply enjoy a light stroll, the event provides a fantastic opportunity to get active, work up an appetite for the holiday feast, and support a worthy cause.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the YMCA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the community. Funds raised will help the YMCA continue its mission to promote health, well-being, and community development as it moves into the upcoming year.
Registration Perks
Participants will receive:
- A race bib
- A commemorative event T-shirt
- A finisher medal (while supplies last)
To secure your spot and these perks, the YMCA recommends pre-registering online by November 25.
On-Site Registration and Race Day Information
For those who miss the pre-registration deadline, same-day registration will be available at the venue from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM on race day.
