4Earth Farms recalls several varieties of mixed vegetable and carrot bags that may contain E. coli.

West Virginia (CNN)- Carrots are healthy for you unless contaminated with bacteria.

4Earth Farms has recalled multiple vegetable medley bags and whole carrot brands.

That’s after supplier Grimmway Farms notified the company that some carrots may be contaminated with E. coli.

The recall involves vegetable bags branded Wild Harvest, Marketside, 4Earth Farms, and Grimmway.

They were sold at grocers including Walmart and Sprouts.

All the bags are expired and have use-by dates of September 7 through November 2.

There haven’t been any reports of the carrots causing illness in consumers.

Still, anyone with these bags in their freezers should not use them.
