Charleston, WV (WOAY) – Registration is underway for a popular July 4th contest.
The 3rd annual Tudor’s Biscuit World Hot Dog Eating Contest returns to the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta and registration is now open.
Hear are a few of the rules to see if you have what it takes.
To win the contest, each Competitor has 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs as possible. Competitors receive one plate of five hot dogs and buns at a time. Contestants are allowed to consume any non-alcoholic beverages, but only water is provided. If competitors bring their own beverages, they are limited to 13 cups.
Registration closed on June 13, and selected participants will be notified on June 17 so they can begin their training regimen.
