#22 Virginia Tech falls to #17 Oklahoma State in Camping World Bowl

Orlando, FL (WOAY) – Virginia Tech’s lunch pail defense could not stop Oklahoma State’s explosive offense as Quarterback Mason Rudolph threw for 351 yards and two touchdowns. Rudolph finished his senior year with 37 touchdowns. Biletnikoff Award-winning receiver James Washington caught five passes for 126 yards. The Hokies lost the bowl game 30 – 21.

Virginia Tech’s running back Deshawn McClease finished the game with a career-high 124 yards rushing. The Hokies snapped their consecutive three winning bowl game streak and finish their 2017 season 9-4. Virginia Tech will travel to Florida State on September 3rd to open their 2018 season.
