RAINELLE, WV (WOAY) – The annual Lindsey Raines Poker Run held in Rainelle is being postponed for 2020.
This would have been the 14th year for this event. One of the primary concerns for postponing the event is social distancing, as last year’s event had over 400 participants.
“Some time in October, and I haven’t determined the date yet, I’m going to have a drawing,” said Rainelle Western Auto Owner Paul Raines. “It’s not going to be a big drawing for everybody to pile in to or anything like that, but I’m going to give away 15 or 20 pretty nice prizes. The last two prizes that I give away are going to be cash.”
The final drawing will be for $500, which would be the best hand paid out at the Poker Run.
