OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – With a new head coach, but a man who is not new to most players, Oak Hill football is looking ahead to 2020.
David Moneypenny has succeeded Jason Blankenship as head coach of the Red Devils, and he’ll take over a team that has several former Fayetteville Pirates on the roster. Both Moneypenny and the players say it has been a positive experience, going back to the three phases of summer practice.
Though Oak Hill did finish 2019 with a win, they’ll be looking to improve on their 3-7 record and get back into playoff contention. They say they’re not intimidated by the move back to Class AAA due to reclassification.
