GLEN DANIEL, WV (WOAY) – After going winless for more than two calendar years, Liberty football started hot in 2019, posting four wins throughout the season. Coaches and players say that while it felt good to record wins, their turnaround is far from complete.
The Raiders do have key veterans returning who have been with the program through various highs and lows, including seniors Braden Howell and Isaac Atkins. They’re quick to note how the team has grown while they’ve been a part of it.
Liberty opens the year with two road games before their scheduled home opener September 18 against Montcalm.
