WOAY is pleased to announce its 2018 Football Player of the Year is Austin Isaacs of Midland Trail.
The senior quarterback from Midland Trail was a key contributor to the Patriots’ undefeated regular season and run to the Class A semifinals, and was a Second Team All-State selection.
It was a great year for several individual players on the gridiron, with candidates for Player of the Year including Mount View’s Elijah Barner, Fayetteville’s Jordan Dempsey, Bluefield’s Jamere “Juice” Edwards, and Oak Hill’s Abe Farrow.
