Sophia, WV (WOAY) – The Independence Patriots are coming off of a 6-4 season in which they just missed out on a playoff appearance. A five-game winning streak to end the 2017 season brings momentum into the new season under a new head coach.
John H Lilly is now at the helm at Independence making him the 5th head coach since 2012 at the school. Expectations for the team this year is to take the next step to make a playoff run in 2018.
