Beckley, WV (WOAY) – The Big Atlantic Classic continued Thursday with four high school basketball games.
In a Class AA boys matchup, Bluefield won 79-36 against James Monroe. Mavericks junior McKinley Mann tallied a triple-double with 17 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 blocks. Mookie Collier led Bluefield with 16 points.
Woodrow Wilson girls basketball was able to trim a 20-point deficit to three against Morgantown, but the Mohigans would win 56-52. Morgantown will face Greenbrier East Saturday night, after the Lady Spartans beat Hedgesville 76-30. Haley McClure led all scorers with 21 points.
