Smithers, WV (WOAY) – Valley football has endured many highs and lows through the past few seasons, but the Greyhounds are focused more on the positives heading into 2017.
One of those positives has been looking forward to another year playing on a home field of their own, after doing so in 2016. They feel that has been one step toward restoring pride in the program.
While Valley’s coaches and players are aware of the tough schedule they face in 2017, they believe they can improve on the last two seasons.
Valley’s 2017 schedule: August 25 at Oak Hill; September 1 at Fayetteville; September 8 vs. Sherman; September 15 vs. Clay County; September 22 at Midland Trail; September 29 vs. Meadow Bridge; October 6 vs. Lincoln County; October 13 vs. Buffalo; October 20 at Richwood; November 3 at Greenbrier West
