WVU Tech offers wifi hotspot in Beckley as part of West Virginia Kids Connect Initiative

The Kids Connect hotspot is located behind the Innovation Building on WVU Tech's Beckley campus.

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – WVU Tech is now offering a free wifi hotspot through the statewide West Virginia Kids Connect program.

K-12 students who need to connect for online learning, conducting research, Zoom meetings, and homework assignments are able to access the hotspot from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m., seven days a week, including holidays.

The Kids Connect hotspot is located behind the Innovation Building on WVU Tech’s Beckley campus.

The hotspot coverage zone is located behind the Innovation Building, in the parking lots along Alabama Avenue.
