Beckley, WV (WOAY) – WVU Tech men’s basketball held one last practice at the Armory this morning before packing their bags for Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Golden Bears will play at the NAIA Division II Championship for the second year in a row. WVU Tech posted 20 wins for the third time in four seasons. Prior to their semifinal loss to IU Southeast, the Golden Bears had won three straight, including a come-from-behind quarterfinal victory over Asbury. Plus, WVU Tech also enjoyed multiple four game win streaks throughout their season. WVU Tech will be the #7 seed and will face the #2 seed Indiana Tech this Thursday in South Dakota.
