Winterplace Resort Extended Weather Outlook

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Midweek and early weekend storm systems promise rain and then a colder blast is likely on Sunday.

Chief Meteorologist Chad Merrill has the latest:

Synopsis for the remainder of March into early April: Following a warm pattern through mid-March, a cold blast is likely to return temperatures below average for 4-7 days sometime between March 17-21. There will likely be a return to above average temperatures at the end of March followed by another cold blast in early April. Additional snowfall through early April will likely range from fewer than 4 inches below 3,000 feet to 4-5 inches above 3,000 feet.
