BEAVER, WV (WOAY) – COVID-19 concerns continue to grow at Southern Regional Jail.
According to Lawrence Messina, there remain two active inmate cases at Southern Regional Jail. The newest member was symptomatic at the time he was tested but no longer exhibiting symptoms. The initial inmate confirmed as positive was released on furlough late Tuesday.
Currently, there are four employees assigned to SRJ who are positive, and all are self-quarantining at home.
