Update: I-77 Now Open Following Tractor Trailer Rollover

EADS MILL, WC (WOAY) – I-77 has reopened following the shutdown after a tractor-trailer rolled over this afternoon.

 

The West Virginia State Police dispatch stated that there were no injuries relating to the wreck.

Traffic was able to move normally again after I-77 reopened around 6:05 pm.

To recap everything, the accident happened in the northbound lane at mile marker 16.5.

According to pictures shared by the East River Volunteer Fire Department, the truck was carrying lengths of pipe.

According to West Virginia 511, Northbound I-77 was completely shut down. Another traffic camera showed traffic backed up all the way to Princeton.
