The Hatter’s Bookshop receives business works grant

A Princeton business is getting funding from the city to help make improvements.

The Hatter’s Bookshop, located at 929 Mercer Street in Princeton, is receiving roughly $1,250 to improve signage, convert its storefront, or fund direct business support projects.

The grant, called the Princeton Business Works Grant, was created by the Princeton Economic Development Authority, the Rotary Club of Princeton and the Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias.

One grant is awarded by the city of Princeton each quarter. To apply, request an application by emailing PEDA@princetonwv.gov or by going to the Princeton town hall.

Applications for the first quarter grant are due March 31.
