Spring Warmth Breaks For Storms, Eventually Cold Chill

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Following near record warmth on Thursday, rain and storms return Friday.

THURSDAY: Near record highs with mid to upper 70s. High pollen count.

FRIDAY: Rumble of thunder and a few showers in the mid-morning, then another round of rain with embedded thunder in the afternoon. Standing water likely in poor drainage spots.

WEEKEND: Dry with breezy winds on Sunday. Intervals of clouds and sun and overall mild trend.

NEXT WEEK: Peak gusts will reach 30-40 mph Monday and Tuesday with much colder temperatures. Late Monday, a round of showers will be followed by snow showers that will be off and on through Tuesday.
