Prospect League Planning for No Delays to 2020 Season

WOAY – While most sports leagues across the country are continuing to postpone events, the Prospect League announced this week that they currently plan to continue their 2020 season as originally scheduled.

In a statement, the league says it will “continue to monitor this unprecedented situation and relay updates as they become available……thank you for showing tremendous patience during this difficult time.”

The West Virginia Miners are scheduled to open their season May 28 in Beckley against Lafayette; their first six games will be held at Epling Stadium. Tim Epling is back as the Miners’ manager after working last year in the club’s front office.
