Princeton,WV (WOAY) WVU Medicine announces an update to the Princeton campus, providing more convenience to patients.
An outpatient laboratory collection area has been created at the front of the Princeton Community Hospital.
Previously, patients with lab orders from their provider went to the lab toward the hospital’s center after registering.
Now, registration and lab work can all be completed within steps of the main entrance.
The updated area will include two separate rooms for lab collections, with one devoted to pediatric patients.
PCH plans to see its first patients in the new lab on Wednesday, February 21.
The lab will be open at 6:30 a.m. To 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Appointments are not required.
The Bluefield and Parkview labs have not changed.
