WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): You probably feel additional aches and pains thanks to the lowering atmospheric pressure. Rain arrives this evening.
OVERVIEW: Rain will arrive between 8:30-10 p.m. and transition to rain showers by 10 a.m. Saturday west of the Greenbrier Valley. The Greenbrier Valley will dry out Saturday afternoon, but a few showers are expected along Route 19 and northern part of Route 219 until 4-5 p.m. A total of 0.50″ of rain is expected. Dense fog will develop above 2,000 feet in the Greenbrier Valley after 10 p.m. and dissipate between 9-11 a.m. Saturday.
Sunday through Tuesday will be sunny with showers arriving again after dark on Tuesday. A combination of brush drying out, temperatures warming well into the 60s and a breezy southeast wind developing each afternoon will bring a moderate risk for brush fires to spread both Monday and Tuesday. Showers are expected with a front on Wednesday followed by sunshine Thursday and Friday.
