FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – An Ohio man was sentenced to seven years in prison for conspiracy to violate the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. He pled guilty in March.
Galen Steele was pulled over on May 1, 2021, for driving erratically and speeding. When he was pulled over, officers found multiple drugs inside the car.
He was found in possession of 19 grams of heroin and fentanyl mixture, crack cocaine, and methamphetamine.
Police also seized four thousand dollars in cash.
Steele was arrested in Ohio on unrelated charges in 2022. He was extradited to West Virginia in February.
He will be behind bars for at least a year and nine months before being eligible for parole.
