Oak Hill woman sentenced for drug crime

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – An Oak Hill woman has been sentenced to prison for dealing fentanyl.

Ella S. Callahan pled guilty to selling fentanyl to a confidential informant in March 2023. The investigation also discovered that she had sold the drug four times for over 1800 dollars. The substance she sold also contained a powerful horse tranquilizer as well.

That drug was designated as a Schedule IV controlled substance and is highly dangerous.

She was sentenced to three to fifteen years for delivery of fentanyl and seven years for conspiracy to violate the Uniform Substances Act.

She must spend four years and nine months behind bars before she is eligible for parole.
