Local bowling alley offers free WiFi for students going through online schooling

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – A local bowling alley is offering free WiFi for students with online courses.

The bowling alley called Pinheads is currently closed for renovations, but according to the owner, students are welcome to use their free WiFi at any time.

The owner of Pinheads Allison Ibarra says they want all students to have all the resources they need to have a quality education.

“We will be able to provide absolutely free WiFi for them in our parking lot through the year. We’re also going to have opportunities where students are gonna be able to come in on a reservation basis and work with tutors here at the bowling alley,” Ibarra said.

They will also be offering the free WiFi after reopening and throughout the remainder of the year.
