GREENBRIER COUNTY (WOAY) – A teacher from Greenbrier County has been named West Virginia CTE teacher of the year. The award honors outstanding work by a career and technical instructor.
Emily Dunkle, an agricultural instructor and FFA advisor at Greenbrier East, also won an award from the National Association of Agriculture Educators.

She graduated from West Virginia University and says that agriculture is a critically important career path.

Dunkle now has an opportunity to win a regional CTE teacher award and could go on to compete nationally.
