MOUNT CARBON, WV (WOAY) – Two men have been arrested and charged after allegedly breaking into a home in Mount Carbon.
Brandon Watkins, a 37-year-old Mount Carbon man, is facing felony charges of conspiracy to commit a felony and burglary. He is also facing charges of destruction of property, a misdemeanor.
Additionally, Hunter J. Burtick, a 20-year-old man from Powelton, has been charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.
Deputies responded to reports of a burglary in progress in Mount Carbon. They were told that two men had broken into a trailer and were stealing things from inside.
The men had fled, but deputies were able to track them down and arrest them.
