Dog Obedience Training course to kick off on August 29 in Beckley

Beckley, WV (WOAY) – If you want to teach your old dog some new tricks or manners, we have some news for you! 

The dog obedience training course begins on Tuesday, August 29, at the Maxwell Hill Community Building at 6:30 p.m. 

The class is designed to assist dog owners with teaching their furry friends basic obedience commands while also improving their manners and social skills when interacting with dogs and other people. 

The course is for dogs ages four months and older that are up to date on their vaccinations. 

The fee for the six-week course is $85, pre-registration is required to participate, and class numbers are limited. 

AKC Good Canine Testing will be available at the end of the course for a $10 entry fee.
