Beckley, WV (WOAY)- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. David J. Patton is hosting community walk-in clinical breast exam events at the Charleston and Beckley office locations.
The first clinic kicks off Friday, October 13, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
If you can’t make it, don’t worry because the offices will host another clinic on Friday, October 27.
These events are open to everyone in the community.
Dr. Patton hopes the complimentary clinic will raise awareness and encourage women to meet with their providers to discuss their breast health.
According to the American Cancer Society, 1 in 8 women will experience a breast cancer diagnosis over her lifetime.
