Athens, WV (WOAY) – Hear from Concord head coach Paul Price as the Mountain Lions continue preparation for Saturday’s season opener at West Virginia Wesleyan.
Concord will be looking to reverse the result of last year’s meeting, as the Bobcats won 23-18 in Athens, snapping the Mountain Lions’ six-game win streak in the series. CU maintains the series lead 19-15.
With Saturday’s game on the road, Price says that provides unique challenges for his team, considering there are many players on the squad who haven’t played a road game at the college level.
Concord’s first home game is September 6 against Charleston.
