FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Cantrell Ultimate Rafting is holding their first outdoor music event since the pandemic started.
The rafting business has a grill and bar with an outdoor venue and on July 5 they’ll be hosting Lady D and The Mission as their first outdoor music guests in months. Kristen Cantrell with the business says they’re doing a lot to keep patrons safe, and they’re excited to see support from the community.
“We are a family-run business so most people that come here are repeat customers or we know them personally. And anyone who comes here becomes family anyway. So it’s been so nice to be able to see everybody. We might have to keep them spaced out and we don’t get to hug, but at least we get to say hello and serve them some good food, maybe take them rafting,” Cantrell.
This is the first weekend since outdoor music events have been allowed to be held again based on the governor’s reopening plan.
