Bluestone Travel Plaza fueling stations and truck parking close on July 8 until renovation project is complete

West Virginia (WOAY)- The Bluestone Travel Plaza on the West Virginia Turnpike will close on Monday, July 8, to finish the new travel plaza on site. 

The West Virginia Department of Transportation says fueling stations at the site are already offline, but the travel plaza will be closed to truck parking until construction is complete.  

Diesel fueling stations and all truck parking will be closed at the Beckley travel plaza on Thursday, August 1, until the completion of that project. 

Tamarack marketplace will remain open, offering expanded services for travelers. 

The renovated travel plazas will offer more food options, a round-the-clock convenience store, and outdoor dining options.

It will also have expanded parking, electric vehicle charging stations, picnic, and pet areas.
