Alpha Delta Pi to run Pi-K for Ronald

West Virginia Wesleyan College sorority Alpha Delta Pi has been raising money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities since the 70s.

They are doing it again on September 14 at 10 am to provide families with sick children comfort and care in their time of need.

Take part in the Pi-K; the sorority would love to have anyone who wants to walk or run.

Faith Yoho says a big reason why she joined ADPi was connecting with their philanthropic work. Their passion for giving back to the community mirrored her own.

“Wesleyan’s a very tight-knit community so we get a lot of student participation as well as community participation,” said the ADPi VPME. “I believe last year we were able to raise enough money to provide eight nights of stay in the RMH for families.

According to Yoho, they made dinner for those families and donated some of their wish list supplies — including cleaning and toiletries.

“We just love being able to work with them; they’re great to work with,” she said.
