Active Pattern Before Cooler Trend Develops

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): A gusty evening will give way to a thunderstorm north of Oak Hill at 11:30 p.m. this evening before sun returns Thursday.

OVERALL TREND: Storms producing damaging wind gusts will stay north of the region but around 11:30 p.m., a few loud clasps of thunder, lightning and brief, heavy rain will greet the Route 19 corridor north of Oak Hill. The barometric pressure will be on the rebound through Thursday morning as high pressure returns! A gorgeous Thursday will give way to rain and thunder on Friday. A cooler pattern will commence this weekend. Expect frost Monday morning.

LOOK AHEAD: The cooler trend is expected through Thursday, April 25 followed by a big warming trend through the end of April.
