Jason Rice of Oak Hill is charged with 74 counts of Felony Computer Fraud and the Felony Offense of Obtaining Money Under False Presence.
The charges come after an investigation where the victim stated that the individual was hired to do work on their residence. He had them attach debit card information to money trading apps because he told them he couldn’t be paid by checks. After that the victim began noticing transactions they did not approve.
In total, more than 7 thousand dollars in transactions were made.
