Burning Rock Off-Road Park partners with Polaris Adventures rental program

SOPHIA, WV (WOAY) – Burning Rock Off-Road Park is now one of only three locations in the state to be partnered with the Polaris approved rental program, which provides high-quality vehicles for the park to rent out.

Dyane Corcoran, the park’s marketing director, says they’ve been given the chance to join Polaris and provide park-goers with high-quality off-road vehicles.

“They provide top of the line, brand new year model Razors. We selected the Razor XP 1000s. We have two-seaters and four-seat models available, maybe for people who don’t own their own or people who are here in West Virginia to experience an outdoor adventure,” Corcoran said.

Burning Rock has always had vehicles available to rent for their more than 120 miles of trails and 10,000 acres of land, but according to Corcoran, these vehicles will be a step up from what they’re used to.

“We’ve had rental programs in the past. We’ve bought our own and used those as rentals. We’ve rented dirtbikes, side by sides, quads. This was the first time that we were approached by Polaris to participate in this program.”

And Corcoran also says that this is an investment for the local economy as well. The exclusive partnership with Polaris will bring in people from all around the region.

“The people that come into this area, they’re eating at our restaurants, they’re getting gas at the gas stations. They’re a real boost to our economy.”

According to Corcoran, this partnership with Polaris is expected to last at least throughout the rest of the year, and will likely be renewed for next year if things go well.
