TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY EVENING: Clouds will linger with temperatures in the 30s.
TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY: Light snow/rain mix will begin around 10 p.m. Tuesday, change to light snow overnight and taper to flurries at daybreak. Wednesday afternoon will be breezy and mostly cloudy.
SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION: There will be a light coating on roadways as well, but totals below represent accumulation on grass and colder surfaces like trees and cars.
New River communities (Prince, Thurmond, etc.): 0.5″
Elevations from 1,500 feet to 3,000 feet (Bluefield, Beckley, Oak Hill, Fayetteville): 1-2″
Elevations over 3,000 feet (Snowshoe, Mountain Scenic Highway): 3-4″
Greenbrier Valley (Lewisburg, Union): Few flurries but no accumulation

THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY: Main roadways will dry Wednesday afternoon, but expect refreezing of melted snow on secondary roads and driveways (unless cleared during the day) early Thursday. ALL the snow will melt by early afternoon Friday as temperatures warm into the 50s.
WEEKEND: Saturday will be dry and mild and a moisture-logged storm will bring 0.50-1.0″ of rain on Sunday to the entire region (including the highest ridges over 4,000 feet)
