Incident at New River Intermediate School under investigation by state police

The West Virginia State Police are investigating a situation that occurred at New River Intermediate School in Oak Hill.

The incident occurred in a special needs classroom… According to the superintendent of Fayette County Schools, Gary Hough, cameras record what happens in special needs classrooms, and that’s how the school discovered the issue.

The school reported it to the State Police and CPS.

State Police are investigating, and Superintendent Hough confirmed that those under investigation are not currently at the school.
