Raleigh County Commissioner and New River Gorge Regional Development board member Greg Duckworth has been named to the West Virginia First Foundation by Governor Jim Justice.
Six board members were elected by local governments, and five members were named by Governor Jim Justice.
Duckworth will join fellow Raleigh County representative Dr. Michael Toney Kelley, who was elected by local governments in Region 6.
Duckworth is a retired state trooper and has been a county commissioner since 2021.
The West Virginia First Foundation is in charge of the distribution of more than one billion dollars from the state’s settlement with opioid companies.
