The Pineville Middle and Elementary schools and the Wyoming County Career and Technical Center were briefly put on lockdown today out of precaution.
It came after an incident at the nearby Wyoming County Health Department building. The situation had nothing to do with the schools themselves.
The person responsible for the incident has been taken into custody, and there is no ongoing threat.
