OAK HILL, WV (WOAY)- On September 30th, 2023 a one-of-a-kind charity event will be held to raise funds for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
Wheeling for Hope will be an all-day event from 9AM-11PM at ACE Whitewater Adventures, where wheelers and outdoor aficionados can look forward to a jeep and side by side show, live bands, and Jeep and UTV trails.
They aim is spread awareness about mental health issues and provide funding to help AFSP in impacting countless lives.
“We are deeply committed to raising awareness about mental health and suicide prevention,” said Michelle Riser, the driving force behind WheelingForHope. “Through fun and exciting events like this, we hope to remind people of the importance of coming together as a community to support those affected by mental health challenges and raise much-needed funds for organizations such as the AFSP.”
