CHARLESTON, WV (WOAY) – As of Jan. 1, West Virginia drivers no longer need to get their cars inspected every year. Instead, inspection stickers will be good for two years.
The bill making the change was signed into law last March. It applies to every vehicle in the state, whether that is a car, semi-truck, or trailer.
The cost of an inspection will also increase to $19.78.
