Weather Update: Flooding Threat Emerges

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): Heavy rain will trigger flooding south of I-64 overnight.

Chief Meteorologist Chad Merrill’s forecast:

OVERNIGHT: The rain will produce more standing water and flooding and eventually end around daybreak to 9 a.m. Patchy fog will develop after Midnight.

FRIDAY THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK: A front will trigger a fresh round of showers and storms late Saturday with another threat on Monday. Sunday and Tuesday through Wednesday will be slightly less humid.
