Volunteers needed to help students “get a life”

Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce education committee is helping students get a life- and they need your help.

The committee will partner with the West Virginia State Treasurer’s Office and Raleigh County Schools to give Shady Spring Middle School and Trap Hill Middle School students a realistic budget simulation exercise.

The program is called “Get a Life,” and volunteers are needed to work at different stations that cover topics including banking, medical, auto sales, department stores, insurance and real estate.

If you want to get involved, call 304-252-7328 or chamber@brccc.com
